Road Closure North Pickenham Road

NORFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL proposes to make a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order (STRO9281) affecting the North Pickenham Road from its junction with Norwich Road for 850m southwards in the TOWN OF SWAFFHAM to facilitate Necton onshore wind farm project works.

The road will be temporarily closed (except for access) from 7^th August to 26^th October 2023 for the duration of the works expected to be about 81 days within the period.  Please note that these dates replace any previously advertised dates in respect of this location.

Alternative route is via: Norwich Road, Mangate Street, Station Street, A1065 Market Place / London Street, White Cross Road, Watton Road, South Pickenham Road, Road From South Pickenham To Swaffham, Swaffham Road, West View, Road From South Pickenham To North Pickenham (Swaffham, South Pickenham, North Pickenham).

If necessary, the restriction could run for a maximum period of 18 months from the date of the Order.

Penalty: £1000 maximum fine on conviction and/or endorsement for contravention.

In the event of the start date being delayed the new start date will be displayed on site in advance.
