Road Resurfacing Works – Swaffham, A1065 London Street

Norfolk County Council plan to carry out essential road resurfacing works on the A1065 London Street, Swaffham.
These works are planned to take place as nightworks from Monday 30 October, between 7pm and 6am and are expected to take 8 days to complete, weather permitting.

The works have been arranged as overnight works after discussions between highways, the district council and environmental health. This allows the A1065 London Street to remain open during the day when more people visit the town. We will aim to keep any noisy works from taking place after 11pm, but please be aware that there will still be works taking place throughout the night.

To allow the works to be carried out safely, the above road will need to be closed throughout the works. A signed diversion route will be in place and access to properties, both pedestrian and vehicular will be maintained, although there may be some delay during essential parts of the works.
