Advocate for Disabled People

Great news! Swaffham Town Council are excited to announce that Cllr Ellerbeck has been nominated as an advocate for disabled people in Swaffham. This role will focus on raising awareness, improving accessibility, and ensuring that our local facilities and amenities are inclusive for everyone. Together, the Council are working towards a more accessible and welcoming Swaffham for all.

Electric Vehicle

After careful consideration, Swaffham Town Council have decided not to move forward with the purchase of the Urban N1 electric vehicle at this time. However, are moving ahead with the maintenance of the small truck to ensure it continues to serve the community well.

Duck Project

After thoughtful discussion, the Town Council has decided not to contribute to the ‘LYM’ Duck Project. While the project will not move forward, the Council remain committed to exploring other exciting opportunities to enhance our community.

VE Day Celebrations

The Council are excited to announce that plans for VE Day celebrations are getting a fresh start! The Town Council has decided to form a working party to explore new ideas and revisit previous plans for this important event. Stay tuned for updates.
