The Town Council instructed Bryan LeCoche Ltd, Enforcement, Investigation & Support Services to issue an Eviction Notice to the travellers on the Recreation Ground. he notice was issued this afternoon with the deadline to leave by 7am, 15 April 2025. The officers who issued the Notice reported that the travellers are planning to leave this evening. The police are aware and have been involved with the process. After the site is clear the Town Council Grounds team will assess the area and report back to Councillors so a decision can be made on how best clean the area.
