A vacancy has arisen for ONE Town Councillor to serve on Swaffham Town Council following the resignation of Councillor Graham Edwards.
In accordance with statutory procedures, a Notice of Vacancy has been published. If, within 14 working days of the Notice being displayed, a request for an election is submitted in writing to the Proper Officer at Breckland District Council by ten local government electors for the parish, an election will be held to fill the vacancy.
If no such request is received, the Town Council will fill the vacancy by co‑option.
