Swaffham’s Neighbourhood Plan, originally adopted in 2019, is now being reviewed — and we want to hear from every household in our community. A neighbourhood plan is a powerful, community-led document that helps shape how land is used, what development looks like, and what facilities our town enjoys in the years ahead.
Why Your Voice Matters
This review gives you the opportunity to say what you value most about Swaffham, what changes you’d like to see, and how you want the town to evolve over the next 20 years. Your responses will feed directly into drafting updated planning policies that reflect the community’s priorities.

We’ve put together a short household survey to capture your views. It covers topics like housing needs, design preferences, local amenities, transport and infrastructure, environment and biodiversity, employment, and more. Completing the survey takes just a few minutes, and just one survey per household is needed.

What Happens Next?
Once the feedback is collected, results will be published on the Town Council website in the Spring, and we’ll begin redrafting the plan with your input. Your ideas will help shape policies that could influence planning decisions in Swaffham for years to come.
