A new community support course is launching in Swaffham to help those coping with grief and loss. The Bereavement Journey offers a safe, welcoming space for anyone who has experienced bereavement—whether recently or in the past—to talk, reflect and begin to process their loss.

Running over seven weekly sessions, the course combines short films with guided discussion, covering a range of important topics connected to grief. These include understanding the pain of loss, coping with emotions such as anger or guilt, managing the reactions of others, and adjusting to life changes. Participants will also explore ways to move forward in a healthy and supported way. An optional session will consider faith-related questions from a Christian perspective.

The course will begin on Tuesday 16th June, running from 7.00pm to 9.00pm each week for seven weeks. It will take place at The Barn, Sporle Road, Swaffham (PE37 7HL).

The full course costs £10, making it an accessible resource for those seeking support during a difficult time.

Places can be booked online via the following link: bit.ly/GriefJourney1, or by using the QR code shown on promotional materials. More information about the course can also be found at thebereavementjourney.org.

This initiative provides a valuable opportunity for local residents to connect with others, share experiences, and find hope and healing after loss.
