Residents are invited to join the Swaffham Guardians for a community volunteering session to help prepare the town’s iconic Pedlar Sign for painting.
Taking place on Thursday, 18 June 2026 from 5pm to 8pm at the Pedlar Car Park, the session will focus on completing the preparation work needed before the sign can be repainted, helping to preserve one of Swaffham’s most recognisable landmarks.
The project is being carried out with the kind permission of Swaffham Town Council and forms part of the Swaffham Guardians’ ongoing efforts to care for and improve the local environment. Volunteers will have the opportunity to contribute directly to a project that enhances the appearance of the town and demonstrates community pride.
Due to the location of the sign close to the road, volunteer numbers will be limited and places must be registered in advance.
