Family Fun & Well-Being Day Returns for Its Second Year

Following the success of last year’s event, the Family Fun & Well-Being Day is returning to Swaffham for its second year, bringing an afternoon of free, family-friendly activities to the heart of the community.

The event will take place on Wednesday 27 July 2026, from 11am to 2pm, on The Green at Campingland, next to the Community Centre (PE37 7RB).

This year’s programme has been shaped by feedback from last year’s attendees and promises even more to enjoy. Families can look forward to a roller-skating rink, a magician, and face painting, alongside a range of independent food and coffee stalls, ensuring there is something for everyone. We are also grateful to Kingsley Healthcare for their generous donation towards the face painting activity, helping to make the day even more enjoyable for local families.

While the weather is always unpredictable, additional gazebos will be available to provide shelter and help keep the event enjoyable whatever the conditions.

The Family Fun & Well-Being Day is designed to bring people together, promote local services, and offer a relaxed, welcoming space for families to enjoy time together during the summer holidays.

Swaffham Town Council is also incredibly grateful to the Norfolk Community Foundation for awarding a grant of £2,190 towards the event. This generous funding support will help make the day possible, and we feel extremely thankful and fortunate to have received their support.

We look forward to welcoming the community back for another fun-filled afternoon this summer.
