People who have experienced the loss of a loved one are invited to take part in The Bereavement Journey, a seven-week programme designed to help individuals navigate grief in a safe, supportive environment. Information taken from Bereavement Journey.
The course offers a space to talk, listen and reflect through a series of short films and guided group discussions. Open to anyone who has been bereaved, regardless of when their loss occurred, the programme explores many of the challenges associated with grief and loss.
Topics covered include attachment, separation and loss, the pain and responses of grief, anger and guilt, coping with the reactions of others, delayed and suppressed grief, adjusting to change, and moving forward in a healthy way. An optional session also considers questions of faith from a Christian perspective.
The course will begin on Thursday 1 October, running weekly for seven weeks from 9.30am to 11.30am at The Barn, Sporle Road, Swaffham, PE37 7HL.
The cost is £10 for the entire course, making it an accessible opportunity for those seeking support during bereavement.
